Kestrels Cottage is believed to date back to 1926 and is a lodge style detached cottage, brick-built under a tiled mansard roof. Kestrels Cottage is situated off a no through lane and has scope for extension subject to the necessary planning consents. There are two reception rooms with open fireplaces (fully operational) and a kitchen breakfast room to the rear. To the first floor there are two double bedrooms, a small single bedroom and a bathroom. To the front of the property there is a parking area leading to a single garage. The garden is South-facing, fully enclosed and mainly laid to lawn with some mature trees and shrubs.

During the months of June and July 2007, major redecoration works were carried out from top to bottom inside and out, including new carpets and flooring throughout.
